I have been feeling a little  under the weather the last couple days.  I swear, the minute I admit I’ve been feeling better – bam! I’m puking all night.  I’m feeling better today than yesterday, but still not up for a photo op.

Luckily for all of us, my Harlo girl was happy to substitute for her dear old mom when she got home from preschool.

Harlo is quite the fashionista.  She picked each and every one of her new school clothes out by hand.  I don’t even try to lead her decisions anymore, because I know if she doesn’t like it 100%, she wont wear it!  I wish I was a little more like this with my own clothes.  She only wears what she feels “fancy” in, and I think that’s a good quality to have! (remind me that when I’m trying to get her ready as we’re late for church on  Sunday, will you?)

 Dress || Jellies

The child is better at acting natural in front of a camera than I am.  I’ll be enlisting her help more often!

I honestly wish they had this dress in my size.  It is perfection!   The jellies are also our favorite summer staple.  I’ll be sad to see these babies go come winter.  Lucky for us, we live in the desert which will be jelly-friendly for at least the next 3 months… try as we might to will fall in, it’s just not happening.  It is beautiful out today, though.  We sat on our front porch for a whole hour without being too hot.  Maybe fall is closer than it appears!

Harlo polished this look off with her classic top-knot.  That’s her real hair, btw.  I find that putting it into a pony first, then back-combing the pony until it looks super wild before wrapping it around in the bun is the recipe of perfection!
