Harlo had her much awaited Christmas preschool performance last night.  Oh, I have so much to say about this little gem.

Harlo’s preschool is a “performing arts preschool” and they have 2 performances a year where they sing and dance on a stage.  This has become a highlight of the entire family’s year.  Talent Sprouts puts on a dang good performance.  The dances are more put together than most actual dance studio performances I’ve been to and they have the bonus of the singing – and this year – sign language to silent night.  Oh my heart!

Harlo took the stage front and center of her class, which I was rather surprised about considering she wouldn’t sing a note OR say her part in the primary program a few weeks back.  But nope, as soon as the music started my girl was shaking her hips like I’ve never seen, leading the rest of the class through all the moves.  It could not have gone better.  She was one very proud little shining star, and I was one very proud mama!  After the performance other parents were coming up to me saying, “Was the little hip-shaker yours?!” Haha, YEP! That’s my girl!!

I can’t wait until Stella is a Talent Sprout! She was about bursting at the seems to get up on stage with the rest of the crew.

Miss Rin is the owner of Talent Sprouts and is Harlo’s teacher this year.  She has been the most perfect person for Harlo and I am so so grateful!
(notice the way Harlo has her skirt in hand like a “real princess”… oh my word – swoon!)

Harlo can be shy, but my goodness, she’s a great little performer.  I’m so happy she has these opportunities and hope she will continue to have them!
She’s my own little Chatey Perry!
