Mother’s day is a coming.  If your husband is anything like my husband, he has left the shopping to the last minute.

One thing I do for my darling Mr. Miller is make my expectations very, very clear.  It took us a couple of years to get this little situation down pat, but since I have made lists for him, our marriage on holidays have been rather blissful. 🙂 Do you wish your husband would make a bigger deal about things and get you things you actually like?  You are not alone, sister.  To this I say, make a list!  Spell it out for that poor man!

These are some of the things that will be on my list for Mother’s Day… of course not EVERYTHING on my list will be purchased, I just love to put a few things out there and then be surprised by which item off the list he chose.  See how this works?

2015 Mother’s Day Wishlist

Anthro Goods:
Bowls, Apron, and pot holders
I have a healthy collection of these latte bowls and I just cannot get enough of them.  I hope to one day have so many that I can give my girls a stack when they move out of the house to always remind them of home (me).

I am also quite old fashioned and wear an apron every time I cook and clean.  It makes me happy and reminds me of how important my work as a mother is. I could really use a new apron! Also some new pot holders since my old white ones are looking anything but white.
(See honey? I told you anthro would have darling ones!)

And on that note: also anything and everything from Anthropologie.
(Also note: If your wife isn’t into cooking, and you buy her these gifts, you may run into a Father of the Bride & “the blender” situation…)

Alex and Ani Bracelet:
I love my alex and ani charm bracelets, and love getting them for special occasions.
(Mother’s day would qualify as such occasion.. Especially this darling eternity symbol one!)
I am hoping to also add THIS one and THIS one to my collection at some point! (*hint, Mr. Miller!)

Family Geneology Chart:

I have had my eye on these for a loooong time.  They are so cool and meaningful and beautiful.  The perfect Mother’s Day gift!

(also I just noticed the names on this chart – ha! Texas Forever!)

A new dress:
Mother’s Day is a great day to wear a new dress to church.  I’m hoping I’ll be wearing something like this:

I also love this one and this one!

And just one more for good measure –
I am a slacker and have yet to jump on the chatbooks bandwagon, though I hope to soon!
But then I thought, wouldn’t a surprise collection of chatbooks be a fun Mother’s Day gift?  I’ll say so!

So there you have it! Any or all of these lovely gifts would a great way to celebrate that special mama in your life.

Is there anything you’re hoping for for Mother’s Day this year?  I’d love to hear it (and maybe add it to my list!)

**Also, while I would love to be getting paid for this post, this is just simply my real wishlist made public.**

kisses!
