A Very Tricky Trick, Indeed!

My little Stelly girl is SITTING UP!

I hate to admit this, but a week or two ago it crossed my mind that I should probably SIT HER UP to see how she would do. The very first time, she’d sit up like a champ for about 10 seconds before toppling over.

I’ve tried to sit down with her when I think about it, she’ll sit up perfectly between my legs but as soon as I move she’ll get nervous and topple over or fling back. Today I finally got her to do it by herself. (leaving the boppy around her, not even touching her, because she gets excited sometimes and arches back onto it) I was very excited, and so was she! AND So was Harlo. I LOVE the time when you can finally just set them down sitting up and give them a few toys. We’ve been in that in-between stage where she wants to be up doing everything like a big girl but can’t just lay down like a tiny baby anymore.
She still is rolling ALLLL over the place to everything she wants, scotting just a bit and I’m sure if she’s anything like Harlo was, she’ll be crawling in no time. (Harlo started crawling basically the day she finally sat up!) Who knows, though. She gets around so well by rolling, she may be content with that for a while. Either way, she’s got a built in cheerleader cheering her every move. “Good job, Stel! Mom! Stel sit up! Her so big, huh!! STella, you so big? yeah!” the whole time. šŸ™‚

If you haven’t got this before, I love these girls. A lot.
