Today I woke up with an impossible craving for egg salad toast… which I eat every Easter and only Easter, usually.  But I woke up this morning and had to have it.
After eating every single last bite (with a few snuck away from Stelly) I wondered honestly why I only eat it around Easter time.  I even let the girls sharpie on ghost faces and scary spider webs on each of the eggs.  Halloween egg decorating – we’re starting a new tradition.  On the menu later today are scary deviled eggs.  Muahahaha!

Last week Brady got home from work just in time to see me eating slices of cheese, wrapped around pickles, dipped in mustard.  He’s teased me all week, but let me just say, don’t knock it until you try it. 😉

I spent the first two pregnancies in my life trying to not be the ‘cliché pregnant woman’.. but my goodness, I have decided to throw that theory straight out the window and absolutely indulge in all the quirks pregnancy has to offer, and I couldn’t be happier with my breakfast and snack choices.  I also just bought a slew of maternity shirts.  Real maternity shirts and not just regular shirts that are barley long enough to cover the bump.  I’d say I’m wearing the cliché pretty dang well (pun intended).

I’m already thinking up dinner which will be egg salad sandwiches, with sliced pickles and extra red onion. Mmmmm Mmm.  Hope you like egg salad, honey!

My wish for you today is that you are indulging in your hearts desire, whatever that may be.

xo,
The crazy (and proud) pregnant lady
