Today when Harlo woke up from her nap, I walked into her room and she immediately said, “I want to be a beautiful princess, like you.”
“Like me?” I said confused, “yep.” she replied.
“I am a beautiful princess?” I asked trying to figure out what she meant.
“You’re so prettiful, just like Barbie.” she said, “Look at your hair. It’s so soft. Just like Punzel.”
She wanted to dress up like the beautiful princess, and this is what she means when she asks that:

It’s my long hair that she was talking about, but to be put on the same level of Rapunzel… my goodness, it made my day.
This is why I say that everyone should have a two-year-old at their house.
Plus the girl is innovative. A blanket on your head in place of hair? Genius.
Using blankies on dress-up? That’s thrifty thinking. We have enough of those to go around!

“Spots” and “Strawberry Birthday Cake” blankies can easily double as a beautiful dress and the hair to create Rapunzel’s look.

Although, it has to be said; Rapunzel ain’t got nothin’ on my Harlo Girl. Just sayin’.
