My Stella girl is growing up so fast.
She is still as sweet as ever,
I was always reluctant to call her a “good baby”
All babies are good, don’t you know.
But I thought, she’s still a newborn,
Much too young to be defined as a “good baby”
Well, now that she’s four months old, I think we’re in the clear to call her
100%
Without a doubt,
“A Good Baby.”
I forget how much fun each and every stage of baby-hood is.
It’s so fun re-living memories of Harlo being this age through Stella.
Her schedule is some-what consistant,
She usually wakes about 8:00-8:30..
once or twice a week she’ll sleep in longer.
She eats and eats and eats,
Then she usually goes swiftly back down for her first morning nap.
Wakes up again around 11am
eats and eats and eats
And usually stays up for a while.
She definitely will take an afternoon nap, but sometimes it’s 4 hours and sometimes it’s 30 minutes.
She’ll take one more cat nap usually while we eat dinner
Tubby’s at 8:00,
and Stella’s final bedtime is 10.
(this way she’ll sleep through the whole night)
It’s inching earlier and earlier by the day, per Stella’s request.
Somedays I feel like she sleeps the entire day long, and others I feel like she’s barely slept at all.
In that sense, it’s inconsistant
But she’s so good, so sleeping or awake..
Doesn’t matter to me 🙂
She thinks Auntie is the funniest woman alive.
She gets her giggling like no other.
She LOVES mirrors.
she talks and talks and smiles to herself.
She’ll grab and hold onto things like rattles, her giraffee that hangs in her carseat,
Whatever random things Harlo gives her…
(Yesterday I peeked into her carseat and Harlo had given her a huge decorative flower that she was just holding tight.)
Some nights she falls asleep nursing,
others she’s awake and I lay her down but rarely ever do I hear a peep out of her.
If it’s anything, I just snuggle her blanky up to her and she’s out instantly.
She sucks her two fingers (middle and pointer) CONSTANTLY.
This is definitely a permanent thing.
I’ve pretty much given up on the binky thing all together.
Still think it’s funny I stressed so much about Harlo giving it up before the baby got here.
Wouldn’t have mattered one bit.
Dr. Marsden recommends starting rice cereal right now but we still haven’t.
She’s so chunky and loves to nurse I haven’t felt like she’s needed it.
We’ll probaby start soon, though.
Something tells me she wont have a hard time eating

I made all of Harlo’s baby food and I’m very excited to do the same for Stella.
I loved doing it.
She likes to sit in the baby k’tan forward facing now.
Such a big girl!
She is such a chub, her thighs are to die for.
I have to wipe out and air-out underneath her chins everyday.
If I don’t, it gets red and yucky 🙁
I love having a chunky baby, though.
I am absolutely, head-over-heels in-love with this baby.
Words really cannot describe the feeling I feel for her.
She is such a gem to my sweet family.
