I pride myself on being a good baby-namer.  I mean, I know I’m biased, but I feel I have a gift in the naming of children.  (Do you have a child to be named? I would be happy to take on that responsibility!)

Some people have this gift.. and some people do not.  Some people are confident in their name choices, and others play it safe with the more classical approach.  There is no right or wrong way to name a child (well.. I guess there are a few wrong ways to name a child.  I’ve heard some doozy’s in my day!) But alas, this is a skill I pride myself on.  Imagine my pleasure to find that Harlo, too, has my gift of child-naming.

Last week in a game of “house”, she established that she and her two sisters would be called:

Hazel, Posy, and Baby Lavender.

I don’t know about you, but I think I just added to my baby name list.

On a related note, Harlo tells me often how she is glad she came first so she could be named Harlo.  It’s her favorite name of the family, she proclaims.  Awesome!
