Today I am happy to share with you a story that is so close to my heart.
Andrea Olson is a dear friend of mine from childhood. She is one of the most beautiful women I know — inside and out. For years I have looked up to Andrea for her incredible talent, her heart of gold and her unwavering faith. This sweet lady deserves all the best this world has to offer.
Andrea and her husband both carry a very rare gene that have made it very hard for them to add to their family. In May, they lost their precious newborn daughter to this disease and found out that they have a 25% chance of having another baby born the same way. Oh my goodness, I listened to this at work and the tears just started flowing. My hubby and I have been trying to add to our family for the past 2 years now and have been unsuccessful at even conceiving and the doctors have no idea why. I could not imagine loosing a child to something like this. We will for sure be donating and sharing her story.
